Chateau Miramar, Nice. Great apartment for 6 people with 2 bedrooms within walking distance to the beach in Nice, Cote d'Azur. The apartment, which is 100 m2, is located on the 5th floor of a big domain with park. The domain is safe and closed with electric gate. In the basement is a garage with space for two cars. From the large terrace of 120 m2 that surrounds most of the apartment, you have a beautiful view over Nice and also a wonderful sea view. The terrace has furniture, a dining area, a cozy sitting area and a barbecue, so you have every opportunity to enjoy the warm summer evenings.
Distances: This apartment is extremely well located. It's not far from Nice airport and the bus stops close to the domain. In addition there are fine shopping facilities, and restaurants and cafes are nearby. The Mediterranean Sea and the beaches are no further away than 10 minutes by foot. If you want to walk in the nature, the Gorges de Verdon is 150 km away, but you also have the possibility of a trip with the old fashion train through the mountains. Vence is about 20 km away, Cannes 35 km, St. Tropez is about 110 km away, Marseille is at approximately 200 km, San Remo in Italy is about 55 km away and Isola 2000 are 90 km away. You simply have all the opportunities in this area, such as city visits, beach holidays, golf vacation, nature experiences, small villages and even skiing in winter.

We really liked this apartment for our family of four. The best feature is obviously the huge terrace with amazing views, but we also enjoyed having 2 bathrooms and a washing machine. There is also a very nice walking path and stairway to the street below (although it could be a bit strenuous for some - equivalent to climbing 11 flights of stairs). There are some very nice beaches you can walk to, and the water is so blue and beautiful (the beach itself is all small rocks, so we preferred paying for the private beach and having access to beach chairs, umbrellas, food & drinks, restrooms, etc.) The city of Nice itself presented some terrific views and some really good restaurants, but it was also somewhat congested and dirty. To me, the views from the apartment and the beaches were worth it. Great apartment for seeing Nice.

Great standard - even had sharp knives in the kitchen! Lovely terrace. Unfortunately the pool was closed when we were there, but the beaches are pretty close.

Leider war der Pool in unserer Zeit nicht nutzbar, jedoch ist der Strand nur 10-15 Min zu Fuß entfernt. Für den Kies-Strand empfehlen wir Badeschuhe einzupacken.
In der näheren Umgebung gibt es Supermärkte, Bäcker, Cafes Restaurants, Bistros.
Die Unterkunft ist mit dem Bus sehr gut zu erreichen, so dass man auch mal das Auto im Urlaub stehen lassen kann. Auch andere Städte sind mit dem Bus oder der Bahn sehr günstig zu erreichen. Nizza hat eine sehr schöne Altstadt mit tollen Restaurants, Cafés und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten.
